Dopo il successo dell’edizione 2016 a Milano con più di 550 iscritti, l’evento convegnistico Internet of Things prosegue nel 2017 con quattro nuove tappe sul territorio nazionale a Torino, Bologna, Padova e Milano.
Dalle applicazioni industriali a quelle legate alla salute delle persone, dalla logistica alle Smart City, dal monitoraggio delle infrastrutture e dell’energia a nuove e più pervasive possibilità di relazione con il cliente, dall’automobile agli ambienti domestici e di ufficio. L’Internet of Things è destinato a ridisegnare luoghi, cose e relazioni; alcune già gestite in parte con tecnologie proprietarie altre del tutto destrutturate, dando modalità univoche nella raccolta, nella memorizzazione e nell’elaborazione delle informazioni. Per mettere in campo una nuova applicazione basata sulle logiche dell’Internet of Things e dell’Industrial Internet of Things occorre considerare molti fattori abilitanti: l’architettura a supporto della raccolta e della memorizzazione dei dati; la possibilità di utilizzare infrastrutture cloud per limitare l’investimento iniziale; gli standard più utili per agire in uno specifico ambito, anche alla luce delle possibilità di integrazione con sistemi di sensori esistenti; la valutazione del rischio e la conseguente strategia di sicurezza per la protezione dei dati e delle informazioni che viaggiano nelle infrastrutture IoT. Architetture, standard e sicurezza sono i tre punti fondamentali in uno scenario di prima adozione dell’Internet of Things ed è prima di tutto importante tracciarne lo stato dell’arte. Il convegno Internet of Things ha l’obiettivo di illustrare e approfondire diverse tematiche:
• Quali sono le tecnologie più adatte per disegnare l’infrastruttura di supporto all’Internet of Things e all’Industrial Internet of Things;
• In che modo le soluzioni cloud possono abilitare l’investimento iniziale di un progetto IoT;
• Quando è possibile immaginare un’integrazione o un affiancamento delle soluzioni IoT con le infrastrutture di sensori già utilizzate;
• Quali standard sono meglio utilizzabili nei diversi ambiti applicativi dell’IoT;
• La valutazione del rischio dell’IoT;
• Come implementare un’efficace strategia di protezione dei dati end–to-end (dalla raccolta all’elaborazione) in un progetto IoT;
• L’ambito applicativo Energy nell’ottica delle Smart City;
• La tutela della privacy e della proprietà intellettuale nell’Internet delle cose.
Parleremo di Industry 4.0 e Industrial Internet of Things con la viva voce delle principali associazioni dei produttori di macchine utensili e sensoristica: UCIMU, Anie Automazione e ANIPLA. Affronteremo lo scenario delle Smart City e delle applicazioni in ambito Energy con gli esperti della divisione Smart Energy dell’ ENEA. L’Istituto Superiore Mario Boella di Torino e la società NCP approfondiranno il tema delle infrastrutture e degli standard, in collaborazione con Studiolegale.it parleremo di privacy e proprietà intellettuale.

First of all, thank you for visiting one of the pages of my blog. My name is Giovanni Battista Tateo (shortly Bat) and I am the founder and author of a project of Interdisciplinary Lifelong Learning of which the Tateo~Blog (:::) blog is the means of sharing. I was initially an Information Technology expert, and later I became an electronic engineer, specializing in industrial Automation. I'm passionate about Artificial intelligence, Virtual Reality, Simulation, and I'm an expert in Artificial Vision applied to industrial Automation. Currently, and starting four years ago, I am employed as a Proposal Engineer at Mer Mec S.p.A. (:::) company. Previously, starting in 2004, I was employed, always at the same company, as a Designer of Artificial Vision Systems and Image Processing Algorithms, applied in particular to Railway Diagnostics. Innanzitutto ti ringrazio per aver visitato una delle pagine del mio blog. Mi chiamo Giovanni Battista Tateo (brevemente Bat) e sono il fondatore e l'autore di un progetto Lifelong Learning Interdisciplinare di cui il blog Tateo~Blog (:::) ne è il mezzo di condivisione. Sono stato in principio un esperto di Informatica, e in seguito sono diventato un Ingegnere Elettronico, specializzato in Automazione Industriale. Sono un appassionato di Intelligenza Artificiale, Realtà Virtuale, Simulazione, e sono un esperto di Visione Artificiale applicata all'Automazione Industriale. Attualmente, ed a partire dall'anno 2016, sono impiegato come Proposal Engineer presso la società Mer Mec S.p.A. (:::).
