La conferenza internazionale INTERACT
The theme of INTERACT “Sense, Feel, Design” highlights the new challenges of interaction design. Technology is today more and more widespread, pervasive and blended in the world we live in. On one side, devices that sense humans' activities have the potential to provide an enriched interaction. On the other side, the user experience can be further enhanced by exploiting multi-sensorial technologies. Not only the traditional human senses of vision and hearing, but also senses of touch, smell, and taste, as well as emotions are to be taken into account when designing for future interactions.
INTERACT è la Conferenza Internazionale promossa dall'IFIP Technical Committee 13 on Human–Computer Interaction. INTERACT si tiene ogni due anni.
Il tema di INTERACT “Sense, Feel, Design” evidenzia le nuove sfide della interaction design. La tecnologia è oggi sempre più diffusa, pervasiva e mista nel mondo in cui viviamo. Da un lato, i dispositivi che rilevano le attività umane hanno il potenziale per fornire un'interazione arricchita. Dall'altro, l'esperienza dell'utente può essere ulteriormente migliorata sfruttando tecnologie multi-sensoriali. Non solo i tradizionali sensi umani della vista e dell'udito, ma anche i sensi del tatto, dell'olfatto e del gusto, nonché le emozioni, devono essere presi in considerazione quando si progettano interazioni future.
INTERACT 2021 is the 18th edition of the conference and it is been taken in Bari at the Villa Romanazzi Carducci. Another hot topic of this edition is Human-AI Interaction, focusing on the design of human-centered intelligent systems.
INTERACT 2021 è la 18° edizione del convegno e si è tenuto a Bari presso Villa Romanazzi Carducci. Un altro tema caldo di questa edizione è Human-AI Interaction, incentrato sulla progettazione di sistemi intelligenti incentrati sull'uomo.
IFIP – International Federation for Information Processing. IFIP is the leading multinational, apolitical organization in Information & Communications Technologies and Sciences, recognized by United Nations and other world bodies. It represents IT Societies from 56 countries/regions, covering five continents with a total membership of over half a million, and links more than 3500 scientists from Academia & Industry through over 100 Working Groups and 10 Technical Committees.
IFIP aims to develop the science and technology of human–computer interaction (HCI) by encouraging empirical research, promoting the use of knowledge and methods from the human sciences in design and evaluation of computer systems; promoting better understanding of the relationship between formal design methods and system usability and acceptability; developing guidelines, models and methods by which designers may provide better human-oriented computer systems; and, cooperating with other groups, inside and outside IFIP, to promote user-orientation and humanization in system design.

L'IFIP mira a sviluppare la scienza e la tecnologia dell'interazione uomo-computer (HCI) incoraggiando la ricerca empirica, promuovendo l'uso delle conoscenze e dei metodi delle scienze umane nella progettazione e valutazione dei sistemi informatici; promuovere una migliore comprensione della relazione tra metodi formali di progettazione e usabilità e accettabilità del sistema; sviluppare linee guida, modelli e metodi con cui i progettisti possono fornire sistemi informatici meglio orientati all'uomo; e, collaborando con altri gruppi, all'interno e all'esterno dell'IFIP, per promuovere l'orientamento all'utente e l'umanizzazione nella progettazione del sistema.
