  Globalization, the crisis that has hit all industrial sectors and new macro-economic trends, the need to reduce costs and increase the quality of products in order to increase competitiveness, the need to make the exploitation of resources more effective, they have given the impetus for the search for new paradigms and architectures for automation in both industrial and civil environments.
