The evolution process of automation that led to the birth of robotics

{Il processo di evoluzione dell'automazione che ha portato alla nascita della robotica}

  The dream of man, from his origin and up to the present day, crossing different times and cultures, has always been and is to design and build tools, mechanisms and machines useful to relieve his work, from which one cannot regardless to live. Although the origin of the first automatic mechanical systems dates back to 10,000 years ago, almost contemporary with the development of agriculture, robotics derives from the evolutionary process of automation thanks to the application, as a design principle, of the imitation of natural processes , and above all of the behavior of man himself.

  {Il sogno dell'uomo, dalla sua origine e fino ai giorni d'oggi, attraversando tempi e culture diverse, è sempre stato ed è quello di progettare e costruire utensili, meccanismi e macchine utili per alleviare il suo lavoro, da cui non si può prescindere per vivere. Sebbene l'origine dei primi sistemi meccanici automatici risalga a 10'000 anni fa, quasi contemporanea allo sviluppo dell'agricoltura, la robotica deriva dal processo evolutivo dell'automazione grazie all'applicazione, come principio di progettazione, dell'imitazione dei processi naturali, e in primis del comportamento stesso dell'uomo.}

   The purpose of the technique has always been to relieve man from repetitive, tiring or dangerous tasks, in order to protect health and quality of life.
  As machines have been assigned more and more tasks and as the complexity of those tasks has grown, machines have increasingly assumed the form of men. In fact, they are equipped with mechanical arms and legs, mechanical hands, artificial eyes and today also artificial intelligence.

  {Il proposito della tecnica da sempre è stato quello di sollevare l’uomo dalle mansioni ripetitive, faticose o pericolose, al fine di tutelare la salute e la qualità della vita. 

  Man mano che alle macchine si sono assegnati sempre più compiti e man mano che la complessità di tali compiti è cresciuta, le macchine hanno assunto sempre più le sembianze di uomini. Infatti sono dotati di braccia e gambe meccaniche, di mani meccaniche, di occhi artificiali ed oggi anche di intelligenza artificiale.}
