Application of the Vision Systems to the Packaging

{Applicazione dei sistemi di visione al confezionamento}

  Wrapping and packaging is the final process of a product's production chain. One of the applications of vision systems consists in verifying the correctness of the packaging process, in order to place on the market only packaging that is correctly loaded and compliant with quality specifications.

  {Il confezionamento e l'imballaggio è il processo finale della catena di produzione di un prodotto. Una delle applicazioni dei sistemi di visione consiste nella verifica della correttezza del processo di imballaggio, al fine di immettere sul mercato solo imballi correttamente caricati e conformi alle specifiche di qualità}

  Some of the most frequent checks performed using vision systems are:

  - control of compliance with the dimensional and shape tolerances of the packaging;

  - identification of any missing products inside the packaging

  - check within multi-flavor systems, for example assorted boxes of chocolates, that the mix of products created by robots corresponds to that required in production

  - verification of the correct picking / depositing logic by the robots;

  - Identification of any discrepancies between the products actually loaded and the theoretical configuration inside the packaging

  {Alcune delle verifiche più frequenti eseguite tramite sistemi di visione sono:

 - controllo della rispondenza alle tolleranze dimensionali e di forma dell’imballo;

 - individuazione di eventuali prodotti mancanti all’interno dell’imballo

 - verifica all’interno di impianti multi gusto, per esempio le scatole assortite di cioccolatini, che il mix di prodotti realizzato dai robot corrisponda a quello richiesto in produzione

 - verifica delle corrette logiche di presa/deposito da parte dei robot;

 - Individuazione di eventuali discrepanze tra i prodotti realmente caricati e la configurazione teorica all’interno dell’imballo}
