La tecnologia sta cambiando il mondo a una velocità inedita e questo crea smarrimento tra i giovani che non possono più contare sulla #esperienza dei genitori e devono pertanto costruire da soli il proprio #futuro. Le generazioni precedenti invece vedono venir meno quelle certezze che avevano sempre considerato indiscutibili. Per assicurarsi un posto nel futuro occorre farsi trovare preparati, investendo costantemente su se stessi. La #formazione, quindi, è l'unica bussola capace di condurci attraverso le incertezze, l'unico investimento per costruire il nostro futuro. I due autori di questo libro Davide Dattoli e Claudio Ubaldo Cortoni, sono rispettivamente un imprenditore della formazione digitale ed un monaco bibliotecario eremita. Essi conducono il lettore in un viaggio attraverso nove percorsi di formazione che hanno caratterizzato il passato dell'essere umano e ancora sono attualissimi: per acquisire il sapere e giungere alla realizzazione di sé.

Summary

Technology is changing the world at an unprecedented speed, and this creates bewilderment among young people who can no longer rely on the #experience of their parents and must therefore build their own #future. Earlier generations, on the other hand, see those certainties they had always considered unquestionable disappearing. In order to secure a place in the future, it is necessary to come prepared, constantly investing in oneself. Therefore, #education is the only compass capable of leading us through uncertainties, the only investment to build our future. The two authors of this book, Davide Dattoli and Claudio Ubaldo Cortoni, are a digital education entrepreneur and a hermit librarian monk, respectively. They take the reader on a journey through nine paths of education that have characterized the past of human beings and are still very much relevant today: to acquire knowledge and achieve self-realization.

La globalizzazione è stata negativa per l’America e l’Europa industriali, 

ma è stata una manna per l’India, la Cina e gran parte del resto del mondo. 

Quando io ero ragazzo, l'India era la terra di Madre Teresa e delle carestie.

Oggi è un paese sempre più definito dalla tecnologia, 

dai servizi globali e da un ceto medio in rapida crescita.

but it has been a boon for India, China and much of the rest of the world. 

When I was a boy, India was the land of Mother Teresa and famines. 

Today it is a country increasingly defined by technology,
